These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AwsSaver service ("Service") operated by AwsSaver ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Service Description
AwsSaver is an AWS cost optimization tool that analyzes your Amazon Web Services account to identify cost savings opportunities. Our service:
- Provides read-only analysis of your AWS resources
- Identifies idle or underutilized resources
- Generates cost optimization recommendations
- Offers dashboard access to track potential savings
Important Disclaimers
Cost Optimization Recommendations
Our recommendations are suggestions based on automated analysis. You are solely responsible for evaluating and implementing any changes to your AWS infrastructure. We strongly recommend testing in non-production environments first.
Read-Only Access
AwsSaver only reads data from your AWS account and cannot modify your resources. We use cross-account IAM roles with read-only permissions and external IDs for secure access.
User Responsibilities
AWS Account Requirements
- You must have administrative access to your AWS account to set up the required IAM role
- You are responsible for managing AWS permissions and access controls
- You must keep your AWS account credentials secure
- You are responsible for all charges incurred in your AWS account
Acceptable Use
- Use the Service only for legitimate cost optimization purposes
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the Service
- Do not share your account credentials with unauthorized parties
- Comply with all applicable laws and AWS Acceptable Use Policy
Implementation of Recommendations
- Carefully evaluate all recommendations before implementation
- Test changes in development environments first
- Understand the potential impact on your applications and services
- Maintain backups and rollback procedures
Subscription and Billing
Subscription Plans
We offer various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Current pricing and plan details are available on our website.
Billing Terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
- Billing is handled through our payment processor, Polar
- All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
- We may change pricing with 30 days notice to existing subscribers
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will be effective at the end of your current billing period.
Intellectual Property
- AwsSaver and its content are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws
- You retain ownership of your AWS account data
- You grant us permission to access and analyze your AWS data as necessary to provide the Service
- Our analysis algorithms and recommendations are our proprietary intellectual property
Limitation of Liability
IMPORTANT: Please read this section carefully as it limits our liability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We provide the Service "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any damages resulting from your use of the Service
- We are not responsible for any AWS charges or costs you may incur
- We are not liable for any outages, data loss, or service interruptions
- Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months
Disclaimer of Warranties
- We do not guarantee specific cost savings amounts
- We do not warrant that our recommendations will be suitable for your specific use case
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
- We do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of our analysis
- Your use of the Service is at your own risk
Account Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by:
- Canceling your subscription
- Removing the AwsSaver IAM role from your AWS account
- Contacting our support team
Termination by Us
We may terminate or suspend your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- Your payment is overdue
- You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
- We are required to do so by law
Data and Privacy
Our data handling practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.
Service Availability
- We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
- We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance when possible
- AWS service limitations may affect our ability to analyze your account
Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where AwsSaver is incorporated
- Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except as prohibited by law
- You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement
